St. Louis, Missouri is best known for their famous arch right near the downtown area but has a deep rooted history and many great things to see in addition to Gateway Arch according to St. Louis painting contractors. In the early 1900′s it was the 4th most populated city in the United States and hosted the big events of the 1904 World’s Fair and the 1094 Olympic games which was the first time they were ever hosted in the Western hemisphere. The city itself has decreased in size being only the 52nd most populated city today. Because of the big boom and those large crowd attracting events, there are many fabulous things to see and do in this city for people visiting. Some of the things recommended by St. Louis painters that live there are the Gateway Arch, the St. Louis Art Museum, Forest Park, The Hill and the St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame museum to name a few.
