Ranthambore National Park is single of the biggest and mainly famous national parks in India. It is located in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan,Near about 180 km from Jaipur, which is also the nearby airport. The close town and railway station is at Sawai Madhopur, about 11 km left.
Ranthambhore was recognized as the Sawai Madhopur sport Sanctuary in 1955 by the administration of India, and was confirmed one of the mission Tiger reserves in 1973. Ranthambhore became a national park in 1980. In 1984, the flanking forests were affirmed the Sawai Man Singh Sanctuary and Keladevi Sanctuary, and in 1991 the tiger reserve was inflamed to embrace Sawai Man Singh and Keladevi sanctuaries.
